Adding items
You can add almost anything to your Lifesafe. An item is a digital record containing the information you choose, alongside optional attachments. You can add items from multiple places within Lifesafe:
Web browser
- Use the plus (+) at the top-right of the screen.
- On the Dashboard hover a category icon / thumb to see a plus (+) which adds to that category.
- On the My Safe screen, you can use "Add" button..
Mobile app
- Use the plus (+) at the top of the screen next to your name..
- On the My Safe screen, you can use "Add" button..
1. Add to safe
Start typing to search for the type thing you want to add, like House, Kiwisaver, Drivers Licence, Mortgage or Term Deposit. You can also search for a theme, such as Banking or Holiday. If you can't find what you're looking for you might use a general type like Document, or List.
2. Enter details
Display name and Category are common to all items and are required. Everything else is relevant to the specific item and optional - simply fill the ones you are comfortable wtith and would like to see in the summary.
3. Upload files
Optionally upload the files related to the item - these are called attachments. For example a Drivers Licence might have photos of front and back, or an Itinerary might be a PDF document.
